Information for Runners
Traveling from Europe or other Countries
Re: Runners not departing from the USA, or runners that choose to join us in Santiago or Punta Arenas.
You can fly to Miami or Los Angeles and join the all-inclusive program from there, or you can join us in Santiago.
If you decide to join us in Santiago, check for flights arriving in Santiago on January 3, 2008 in the early morning and join the group on the flight to Punta Arenas, you will most likely need to arrive a day earlier in Santiago which will be good for recovery too. You will need a flight out of Buenos Aires on January 17, 2008 or later if you want to extend your stay. We will update this information with the flights for the group as soon as these are confirmed and any other suggestions.
You will need the flight from Santiago to Punta Arenas. The group is scheduled to fly from Santiago to Punta Arenas on January 3, 2008 on LA 287 departing at 8:10 am and arriving in Punta Arenas at 12:30. This flight can be purchased at www.lan.com Check with us before issuing as we may be able to recommend more economical options.
You may want to consider purchasing tickets with LAN airlines if you are planning on extending your trip. They have great add-on coupons for flights inside Chile and other countries in South America with the South America Pass. Please note that when you fly LAN on your international segments, you will get the domestic tickets at a better price, but you have to check and compare the options and see what the overall price is.
The flights from El Calafate to Ushuaia and from Ushuaia to Buenos Aires are not included in the package. The cost for those 2 segments is $375 and we have these flights reserved for the group.
Make sure to let us know BEFORE issuing any tickets, so that we can help you coordinate the correct flights and best options for your trip.
Contact us to clarify any details.
